Robert L. Johnson needs to be trying to figure out what the hell happened to BET and leave Barack alone.

RLJ's criticism is irrelevant. Look at BET. He is definitely a brilliant leader and entrepreneur. Black Exploitation Television and the woman he mentored have made it worse than ever. Do you know what it takes to discredit him? "Tip Drill" and that "Read a M-F- Book" video.

Damn. MBTA again? Generally, after several mistreated and litigious employees get money, you sort things out if only to cover your own a–.

And yes, Boston and racism are still very close friends.

I want Bob Johnson and his Coon Machine known as BET to shut the phuck up and sit down somewhere. There is nothing he can say out of his mouth that will EVER be relevant to me.

Bob's comments were very ill-advised. As much of a fan of recreational drug use as I am, I still think it's fair game to comment on Baracks's past usage, but, yea, Bob Johnson shouldn't be the one to do it.

RLJ = hypocrite. Some will label him a sellout for this, but they really should be calling him a sellout for the nonsense he made BET

He's not a sellout. He just shouldn't have said what he said. He also should not have backed down. Yea, we all know that he was talking about Barak's drug use so why should he backtrack? That looks worse. He got ahead of himself and uttered some ish that he shouldn't have, but to try to say that's not what he meant is silly. Hillary shouldn't have to apologize either as some folks want her to. Barack put his drug use out there so it's fair game. As much as he wants to say it's "the politics of personal destruction." If I interview for a job and I check that box that asks if I've ever done drugs or have a felony, best believe my prospective employer is going to take that into consideration when hiring (or not) me. This whole story is just so silly.

I love how Camp Hillary is bringing people together. I suppose Mr. Johnson's words are Barack's fault too as is everything else uttered by Hillary's clique.

exactly BMD. It's totally unnecessary to trash another candidate to support another candidate. That goes for Camp Clinton and Camp Obama. All this trash talk makes all the dems involved look bad and it's why they'll lose even if bat sh*t Huckabee is the republican nominee. I've come to that realization. Democrats sure know how to screw each other.

And it's too bad that he made them. I suspect the Republicans are laughing their asses off. The Democrats are tearing each other up (and it's coming from both sides - any one who says different is disingenuous) and tearing the party in two instead of talking about the economy, health care, poverty, education, etc. Hillary can't win w/o Obama supporters and Obama can't win w/o Hillary supporters. We're killing ourselves and if we lose again in November it won't be because of Diebold, the Supreme Court or Swiftboaters. It will be b/c of us. Look at the vitriol on this site. Do you think either candidate is bringing people together? GTFOH!

Yeah. P.S.: Unlike 2004 and 2006, the Republican attack machine will not need to come out at all. Meanwhile, republicans are busy debating actual issues for the most part. The animosity between the two camps is ridiculous. And when one of the democratic candidates loses in November, democrats everywhere will have only themselves to blame for it and the resulting b.s. we'll face for the next 4-8 years. Good. F-ing. Job. Actually, during the State of the Union in 09, the Republican president should thank Democrats everywhere for handing them the presidency.

Agreed. I'm all for vetting candidates and, Lord knows, I'm always up for a good argument, but it's almost comical now. Not just here, but on the political blogs/boards I read. It's "you're stupid" "no, YOU'RE stupid" "my candidate is better" "yea, right, MY candidate is better" "have you always been a racist or did you just become one now that a black man might be president?" "crying is for pussies. Literally."

I have to shake the sand outta my shoes when I leave the sandbox (turn off my laptop) each day. LOL.

I think we need to revisit the Vince Foster murder, where Hillary was being investigated as ordering his murder to shut him up.
There was ample evidence to have a Grand Jury look into inditing her.

I remember Vince Foster was supposed to meet with the congressional committee investigating Hillary's possible illegal deals and the night before the meeting he was supposed to have killed himself, on the WhiteHouse grounds, while Bill and Hillary was less than 200 yards away, and yet they didn't hear the gunshot, at least so they say.
The good news is; The evidence in his office miracelously disappeared.

Kenneth Starr concluded that Vince Foster committed suicide. The people who were trying to take him down were right-wingers as stated in his suicide note and confirmed by articles written about him. It sure as hell wasn't Clinton ripping him apart. It was the soon-to-be neo-cons who were his harshest critics and had more than their share of ish to cover up.

If the GOP isn't paying you, they should. Chip, chip, chip away at the possibility of either dem front runners to win the elections though I think both are responsible for losing it already.

P.S.: Since democrats are saving the republicans the trouble of eliminating any possibility of them winning, what on earth are all these "think tanks" and GOP staffers going to do? New unnecessary department?

The attacking and hate came from Camp Hillary. Hillary, Bill and those of that ilk began this hate speech, negative campaigning. I find it hysterical those who support her had the nerve to call Obama supporters as those who saw him as a pop star or only liked him because he's black and yet these are the same hypocrites coming back asking for party unity.

No. Clinton, Obama and Edwards are all self-destructive because they've focused the bulk of their efforts on attacking other candidates instead of telling people what they're going to do. Part of it is the media's reporting of it. The horse race is far more entertaining than the news, but in reality, that is how democrats have and continue to operate. If you bothered to watch the debates, it was squawking between the top 3 which made me want to vote for the others who were (gasp) debating issues. I don't know why people are under the false impression that their candidate of choice is saintly. By virtue of being a politician in a high position, that sort of thinking is absurd.

Oh also, it's too late for party unity.

Your assertion that statements made by the Clinton campaign is "hate speech" really trivializes the term. I also don't see most democrats on either side calling for party unity because those who realize that they need party unit know that the election has been lost. The DNC is too idiotic-disorganized-blind to have thought of that about 9 months ago. This was the same B.S. as in 04 but messier. Dean was the front runner and all the other leading dems pointed their guns at him instead of talking about what they have to bring to the table or pointed said guns at Republicans. That wasn't what killed Dean's chances at the end of the day, but even after he was essentially knocked out, the squawking continued between the others. Saying that another candidate is bad isn't enough reason for most people to vote against them. This whole situation was so predictable yet the DNC didn't seem to have done anything to ensure their party's success. Someone said that the pro-Hillary people will need the pro-Obama people and the pro-Obama people will need the pro-Hillary people when November rolls around. It's not just them. Factor in the many independents who are watching this circus now and now think poorly of both leading democrats due to their own smear campaign as well as the smearing from other candidates.

It's been lost. Yes, I'll vote in the primaries and I'll vote in November, but it's already over.

Daria, That's not true Kenneth Starr never investigated a murder, he investigated corrupt Clinton deals and he still didn't exonerate that.

BMD - said it's fair to investigate the candidates past, so, that we should.
Another Clinton Blast from the past:
Rwanda, when the world and the U.N. were calling on th Co-Presidents of Bill and Hillary to label the massacre there genocide he refused, even his State Dept. wanted to and he ordered the not to.
Question is, why? Could it be that it was only Africans dying and not Europeans (Kosovo)

Daria - resistance is futile, dude. We're a bunch of evil, lying hypocrites remember? And you're arguing with people who are perfect, have the moral high ground and are superior to you. What don't you get about that yet?
