I used to work for Wells Fargo and was laid off back in 2003 because they were moving our operations from DC to South Dakota. And despite that, I have to say that it is one of the best companies I have ever worked for. They gave us six months notice before they started laying people off, and most of us were given very nice severance packages. It's no surprise to me that they beat their goal by two years. Good for them. Now, let's just hope that they continue this trend.
cheaptickets.com sucks. You will not find a better deal there versus the other websites. And if you do, you'll have to fly an overnight on some po-dunk airline with a Peruvian midget on your lap.
I love Wells Fargo long time. I actually just talked to a lady there yesterday who called as a courtesy to give me the latest news on my credit card with them. She even told me what my credit score was (it's great, btw). She was very nice and I didn't feel pressured to sign up for anything. I told her that as soon as I get rid of the bastards at Capital One, I'm getting a card with them.
