I love Iman, but if the editors were really serious about highlighting black models, they would have put one on the cover who could really benefit from the exposure. Iman is an icon, and already known in, and done with the modelling industry. A young black model gracing the cover would get tons of exposure, that could really make her career. Inside the mag is great, but it’s all about the cover in fashion.
Btw, who actually buys Jet magazine??
