I doubt the validity of that so-called interracial study. It appears as though the “liberals” are really going out of their way to promote interracial relationships and at what cost? Integration has helped no one! It doesn’t surprise me that the younger people in America are prone to such attitudes; the youth in America do not know (because they were not taught) the history of their people, especially African American Youth. Every week now I read these so-called studies in a newspaper of some sort. Why? Why isn’t it okay to be with your own anymore? The majority of interracial marriages end in divorce, why doesn’t any one talk about that. Most people in any part of the world end up dating and marrying some one similar to them, so the purpose of these studies are moot and they do not promote any positive interracial relationships. Humans naturally gravitate to their own kind and you cannot fight nature, I don’t know why liberals are trying so hard to refute that.

Also I do agree w/ this Jeremy fellow, but the black people who become affluent and in turn move out of the black community, while carping about the people they left behind, are sell-outs as well. They are not any better than the people exhibiting the doltish and destructive behavior that he speaks of in his article i.e. Clarence Thomas & Bryant Gumble. Those two oafs are hardly role models for the black youth in America. Unfortunately, there is a slew of Clarence Thomas’ and Bryant Gumbles’ all over America. The entertainers who promote the redundant gangsta’ image and the “educated” people who moved out of the black community are all one in the same; they are sell-outs who have lost their way.

*Obviously, not every educated black person is included in the latter part of my aforementioned statement.

downbrown, i thought i was one of the only people in this day and age who was sort of anti-interracial marriages. i sometimes feel ashamed that i feel that way, b/c it's not a PC view. you give me courage, hahaha.
