Like Prince did earlier this year, Michael Jackson has decided to share a much-anticipated concert series with the British instead of the supportive, unconditionally-loving denizens of his homeland. Ungrateful much, MJ?
The superstar is set to play “between seven and ten” dates in February, with an official announcement now said to be imminent.
A source close to the Thriller singer told thelondonpaper: “Details are being finalised as we speak. It will be a mini-residency at The O2, not like Prince’s 21 nights or anything but about seven to ten dates.
Perhaps he thinks Londoners will be less put off by the blatant evidence of his most recent plastic surgery.
The Brits have maintained their love for MJ well beyond the expiration date on ours so this makes total sense.
are you kidding? Mike's European fan base is much larger than the fickle US "fans". He'll easily sell out every show being in London as opposed to NY or LA.
i am kidding, actually. thought it was obvious.
As opposed to NY or LA? The 30th Anniversary show in 2001 was very successful if I remember right, and it was in NYC.

i was at those shows and yes, they were somewhat successful, but that was only 2 nights, they tossed around the idea of a 3rd night (Sunday), but decided against it. I would bet Mike could SELL OUT 10+ nights in London easily, he sold out Wembley for multiple nights a few times in the past, on the Bad and History tours. I think for NYC, he should do the "One Night Only" thing he had planned for 1995. Just him, a mic, and the audience.
