Myspace, which I've often felt looks like it was submitted as a final project in an HTML 101 class, if finally rolling out a redesign. This is definitely in response to the much-sleeker Facebook, which completely eclipsed Myspace on its meteoric rise to the top of the social networking world. Unfortunately, Facebook is also launching a redesign sometime in the near future. So… status quo. [CNET]
ugh, myspace is just fine the way it is. My laptop is slow and I can't stand updated new versions of myspace with way too much embedded videos, heavy ads with flash images, and so much freakin' HMTL shit.
GODDAMNIT, MYSPACE! NOT ALL OF US HAVE A FANCY COMPUTER WITH FAST MODEM SPEED!!!!
People still use myspace? I closed my account last year
Yea, myspace was doing too much for me. I probably need to completely get off the networks, but I really like facebook. Its much easier to navigate and find friends.
Oh yea…much easier if you can get past the "throwing sheep" and "vampire kisses…" Count me out of that extra!
I'm definitely on Facebook way more than I am on Myspace.
I don't have facebook.. just myspace. I don't really check myspace enough to justify joining another social networking site.
Seriously though, people with 5 youtube videos, sparkly, glittery pictures, and 10 slide shows should be deported to a third world country with nothing but the clothes on their backs.
Agree with the HTML 101 comment, always thought MySpace looked effing disgusting; lots of clashing colours, very little formatting and even less consistency. Shocking in this day and age. Glad they are trailing Facebook, who despite their faults are at least making an effort visually/ functionally.
I stay on facebook, its in the other tab right now. Facebook is much better, co-sign with AuNappturale, once you get the applications under control then it is so much easier to navigate than myspace. I only have a myspace so i can see other peoples profiles.
Last year I finally broke down and got both profiles on both. Myspace is better for showcasing my makeup work as there are more creative types on it. My page is cool…it's a collage of eyes…some I got from the net and others are from pics in my book. I've a made ton film connections or reconnected with people I have worked with in the past on myspace.
Facebook is the best way to kill a couple of hours without having anything to show for it! More of my old friends are on facebook and, I mean, who doesn't like throwing llamas at their friends all day??? I'm on it more than myspace probably.
