It's amazing to see the on-going stigma that surrounds hip hop. Nas has written songs like The World Is yours and I Can. The man is real, but he is positive at the same time. He isn't contributing to anything other than the uplifting of young minds, and the promotion of awareness for the Black struggle. Keep shinin' Nas.

Well, in fairness to Bill O Reilly, the dude does rap about shooting people. Sure to us black folk that means nothing, but to the average person, especially at VA Tech after the shooting spree, it may not seem like a bit much.

Fox didn't have shit to say when Charleton Heston held a NRA meeting in Columbine, the following week of the school shooting. Fox doesn't complain about the equally offensive rock groups out there, that spread the same negativity.

Fox has a reputation for their disparging skew of the Black community image, in the media. Why defend people who already have an agenda, to view everything about your culture, even the postive aspects, in a potentially questionable light? Do you ever watch things like Hannity and Colmes? They revel in getting strong Black figures up there, only to confuse them and make them appear hypocritical. And when they aren't doing that, they get on Brothers who are quick to turn tail and join in on demonizing us. Where are your priorities?

I was going to argue against Keepin It Real's ignorance and side with Spendi's eloquent arguments but then I clicked on KIR's name, the link to his page and was greeted with the title "I Hare Saasy Black Women" and a post entitled the following: 'Post Here To Share Your Stories About Sassy Black Women'

with this underneath it:
