Next, Let Ludacris Work His Magic At A Benefit Concert For The New Slavery Museum

Behind Ludacris' suddenly serious exterior — the short hair, mainly, but that counts as "serious" — lies a man without as much mental power as one would think or hope.

I can't see any other reason why he would think it was appropriate to drop the N-word during his performance at the Dream Concert, which benefited the Martin Luther King, Jr. memorial.

Perhaps his manager forgot to brief him ahead of time on protocol to follow when honoring assassinated civil rights heroes.

Hmm. Ludacris' hits:

*(I've got hos, in different) area codes
*Move bitch
*(Shake your) money maker
*Pimpin' all over the world
*Blow it (out your ass)
*Splash waterfalls (aka ode to female wetness)
*What's your fantasty (aka ode to sex)
*Ho

Point: regardless of how many designer suits he puts on or how many hair cuts he gets or how much he tries to take on Oprah, he's just another dumb n- putting black women down and making bad music

I don't know how you let the n-word slip at an MLK event? He just didn't care and knew no one would hold him responsible. Why was he even invited? Seriously, i think if you are going to honor a person you must stay true in some respect to who that person was so Ludu should have never been there to begin with.

That being said, I haven't liked him much since Back for the First Time.

i agree with daria, too.

what is wrong with these guys? how is that this has become an accepted way for black men to conduct themselves? obviously not just luda, but all of these guys who have no respect for women, little respect for their elders and how they fought for us to have the rights that we enjoy today, and ultimately no self-respect. i'm on the lookout for brothers who are empowering the people. let's tell more of their stories, 'cause i'm sick of this sh*t.

Luda is an idiot. Yes. But this is the same thing as inviting Eddie Griffin to the Black Enterprise gala. WTF? Who are the talent coordinators of these events and do the even KNOW who they are booking?
