Paris is dying inside right now. Unbeknownst to the blogs, or the paparazzi, or the television journalists who were busy clamoring to cover the announcement of Lindsay Lohan's ridiculously lenient criminal charges and her guilty plea, Nicole Richie quietly entered jail to begin her four-day sentence for DUI.
She was processed, her mug shot was taken, and she was put in a cell. Thirty minutes later, she was released due to jail overcrowding. I'm searching my soul to come up with the same outrage I felt when Paris Hilton was released early (before she was sent back), and I can't really find it — particularly when the prosecution just played total softball with Lindsay Lohan over her drug charges and multiple DUIs. Oh well.
We all know who's not throwing her a welcome home party.

Oddly, I'm glad. While I do think what she did was dangerous and she should be punished, I do have issues with pregnant women being imprisoned. Unless they are violent offenders or doing drugs while pregnant.
But Foxy has to stay in Rikers right?

Foxy is not a non-violent offender. Didn't she just attack someone last week? It's not what she was in court for, but when they tell you to show up for court, you need to show up.
There are plenty of pregnant woman locked up so fuck Foxy (and Nicole for that matter). If you let her out b/c she's 3 mos. then you have to let every brown and black (and white!) pregnant woman out under the same circumstances. Nicole Richie did get preferential treatment, but so what? If Foxy wanted better treatment then she should have showed her ass in LA instead of NY. Next.
