Jay-Z and Beyonce, like most celebrities who want at least a fighting chance to keep their relationship intact, believe that certain things should be sacred. This is why he's never, ever, ever going to talk about his marriage to Beyonce, although he will flash the wedding ring to paps on occasion. "I just think it's really a part of your life that you gotta keep to yourself," he tells Vibe in their September issue. "You have to have something sacred to you and the people around you," the 38-year-old adds. "I shared so much of my life⦠I should have something to hold on to." [Us]
It's rare, but kudos if they can pull it off
…and there's really no way of doing it without the press and public turning on you a little.
I agree with him somewhat but its kinda funny that he'll share stories about dealing dope but when it comes to being married to the "hottest chick in the game", he's silent as hell about it.
I'm not saying he should go blab about his relationship to any and everybody but its kinda, I dunno…hypocritical maybe?
I'd personally rather hear about someone's spouse than all the women they've been. We know he and his former bff got chlamydia from the same woman, but somehow knowing about his equally high profile wife is oversharing?
I don't care either way, but still. If you're going to pick your spots, make them rational though I definitely think it's opening a Pandora's Box to start talking about your relationship. Bennifer, Kate Hudson and her constant marriage advise, Brangelina, Will & Jada. Once you start, the expectation is that you will continue and when you decide to shut your mouth, people are going to print a ton of negative and false things about you. Actually, that'll happen anyway, but why add fuel to the fire?
