Obama Has Portland On Lock
Every lazy, elitist, African American, over-educated, naive, easily-entranced, geeky, too-young-to-know-better, allergic-to-hard-work, atheist, and/or Muslim person in the Portland area must have left their calendars open Sunday, because a record-breaking 75,000 supporters showed up to an Obama rally on the Oregon city’s waterfront this weekend. The photo doesn’t lie.

That pic makes me proud. being a U.S. History major in college and studying how far our people have come and what we have been through, it just makes my heat Glad to see this. Regardless if he wins or not, its just and historic time. As a black person, you don’t have to like him or what he may stand for politically , but you can’t deny that this is a proud moment for us. We haven’t always been so comfortable in this country and many of us still aren’t. I think sometimes we forget that it wasn’t that long ago that 50 or 60 years ago this would have been impossible.
