I wonder if one has to be an Barack Obama supporter to go all goose-bumpy watching this speech (watch Part 2 here), which the senator made after the Iowa results came in. Obviously, I'm a supporter, and I'm plagued with goose bumps every time I think about what happened last night — "after the longest, costliest and most intensely fought campaign in the history of the Iowa caucuses," Barack Obama won! And the top three Democratic contenders matched up in a way that is certainly lighting a fire under the ass of one Hillary Rodham Clinton.
We'll surely be hearing, reading and (in my case) writing about this all day. But for now, get the hard facts after the jump.

Well, I must confess. I was not 100% convinced who I would vote for. But just reading last night that it was projected that he had won Iowa gave me chills, even before the speech. That was actually the heading of my blog post, "I just got chills."
This man is blessed, charmed and incredible. He believes in the impossible and goes for nothing less. That's just damn inspiring, and I can't help but get chills from it.

Is a great site for Dems, liberals and progressives. And you Obama-heads will love it…there are lots of Obama supporters there…it's sickening. Joke!
Fabulous! Whether you are for him or not, you gotta love that this is even possible.
If Romney doesn't win the Republican nomination (and Iowa is just one state so who knows), the dems might have a shot in hell.
I'm still on the fence about who I would vote for, but that speech gave me goosebumbs and I having a much better sense about what OBAMA is about.
I do understand the hesitation that some African-Americans have for voting for him. He is not African-American, he's African and White, so there is the belief would be that he does not "understand" the history and the issues of African-Americans. Um, but of course Billary does!
I'm not African-American. I'm West Indian Canadian, so I do understand Obama and what he is trying to achieve. He transcends race. He transcends old-school values. The world is becomes less black and white. I said LESS. And there are plenty shades of gray and brown out there. I love that he does not talk about race. Our issues living in this country seem more class and value driven. I think this man understands this.
