Are American Indians fatter than the general populace? I find that difficult to believe. There may be more drugs and alcohol on reservations, but there are far fewer fast food joints.

Nike is messing around with a very, very slippery slope. I don't think making shoes targeted to specific races will do anything to combat obesity. Only education and better living standards will.

Speaking of a surburban italian restaurants. I was watching one of those Chef Ramsay shows - probably a rerun - where he makes over ppls kitchens and he was at an italian restaurant. The owner of the place was such a meathead guido. He kept cussing and wanting to fight. It was soooo stereotypical. I just kept saying to myself thank god they aren't at Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles. LOL.

So if Al acts like he's there - well then maybe it'll be a good show afterall b/c Bill will end up getting shot in the head after one of the commerical breaks.

Speaking of Chef Ramsay, he recently talked about how his mother used to get regular beat downs from his short-fused (pot calling kettle black), alcoholic father. I wish news outlets would cover domestic violence in the people of color. Figures don't lie. If you're any sort of "ethnic," you are far less likely to report this mess and thus, unlikely to ever escape that situation. It is after all Domestic Violence awareness month, but I guess Bill O'Reilly's racism is more important.

I watched that episode of 'Kitchen Nightmares' last week. They were running that place like a bunch of animals. If I was dining there when that fight broke out, I would have left and never come back. People come to restaurants to eat not to be afraid.

Please, Nike, stop. Of the 6 pair of Nike's that I have purchased in my life, only 1 pair is actually comfortable & cushioned properly. The skateboard shoes I bought a few years back are more comfortable than the Shoxx & Air Force One's that I have. How does that happen?
