• Steve Harvey? Maybe not the bright, religious, sunshine-y comic he's made out to be. [Vibe]
• Aww, Nicole Richie's impending motherhood has inspired her to become closer to the father who was never there for her when she was growing up and the biological mother who gave her away. Sweet. [People]
• It's probably best to keep redneck stereotypes out of diversity training videos. It's a little funny, though. [CBS4 via Racialicious]
• If the Independent Spirit Awards are trying to go 100 percent waste-free this year, then why did they nominate Angelina Jolie for A Mighty Heart? [SP]
• Bobby and Whitney, take a long hard look in the mirror. This is all your fault. [C&D]
Steve had me fooled. I never liked his country boy humor, but he and his wife did some good things for schools in Compton when he was on the radio in LA so I thought he was on the up and up. So much for that.
I'm glad Nicole made up with Brenda (adoptive mom). If she wants to make up with her biological mom, that's her business. It seems to me that people generally get that urge to make peace as they age and have their own kids. As long as they aren't toxic forces in her life, good for them. The baby shower pics on InStyle are great.
The former Mrs. Harvey should prepare for backlash because putting a famous black man's business out there and demanding that he take responsibility for his actions makes her a gold-digging b—-.
Haven't watched AMH, but according to almost all critics, she was excellent in it. Hasn't that horse been beaten to death?
I wouldn't have guessed that about Steve but now I'm like duhh after all the man does wear some pimpish looking suits and shoes. Is it hard to believe that he wouldnt slap a woman like a pimp!!
Well as a divorcee, I know that everyone has a side to the story so I am going to take this with a grain of salt.
