vfcover.jpg• Forget the fact that of Vanity Fair's 10 "fresh faces" on its March cover, the only two of color are Zoe Saldana and America Ferrerra, and they're behind the fold. Check out the coverline on the lower right! At least they don't have my Obamarama graphic.

• Chris Rock thinks he loves Rihanna's ass. [VH1]

I am very, very glad you addressed this. This Vanity Fair shoot has gotten a lot of media coverage over the last two days and I found myself slighted, embarrassed and shocked at how it was handled. Extra, The Insider and Entertainment Tonight didn't even mention Zoe the first mention of the shoot nor did they have interviews with her. They actually added her name to the list of people they mentioned later (if at all) and failed to interview them. To be honest…if they are all up-and-coming and deserve to be recognized as fresh faces, they all deserve to be mentioned. Furthermore, Zoe, America and Ann H. were the ONLY one's I recognized anyway…meaning they have been doing something right!

Uh, if you've been in the public eye, you're not a "fresh face." Especially America. Girl has BEEN out there for a while. Graydon Carter, you do not impress me.

LOL @ Chris Rock. Someone's sleeping in the guest room tonight.

Robin looks marvelous except around the eyes. The chemo's probably responsible but she's done with that and now it's radiation time. Breast cancer in pre-menopausal women is so incredibly scary. It's way more aggressive. To top it all off, she's black.

I love the Hollywood issue, but I long ago came to realize that none of the worthless (interchangable) chicks they paste onto the cover are actually "stars", whatever their ethnicity.

Real glamour and mystique are dead in Hollywood.

I guess I long ago gave up on the prospect of Hollywood regularly acknowledging minority beauty or talent as a whole, and when they do recognize us it's often those of us who most resemble their ideal of beauty and not our own.

Robin Roberts looks regal, what an inspiration.

I am a little sad that Saldana and Ferrera are in the fold. I think they should have put at least one of them on the cover for diversity's sake because let's be honest, Jessica Biel and Anne Hathaway are no longer fresh faces, they were about two years ago.

Good for Robin. Love her courage. She has more balls than I probably would in that situation.

Before I even the read the title of this article I zeroed in on the fact that Zoe was in the fold and no colored faces were on the cover.

The colored girls always get the inner fold.

Vogue in 07: 10 models, 9 of them white. Chanel Iman, their double minority (way to kill 2 birds with one stone Anna and Andre), gets the inner fold.

Vogue in mid 90s: Nicki Taylor and Naomi Campbell. Nicki is in polka dot bikini on front. Naomi is in the fold out part in a leopard skin bikini.
