Let's Call The Whole Thing Off

Do some news anchors "slip" and mix up Obama and Osama on purpose? Yes. Do many of them work at Fox News? Yes. Do others accidentally mix up the two names because they actually do sound similar? Yes. Matt Lauer, who referred to America's most hated terrorist as Obama bin Laden this morning, likely belongs in the latter group. It happens.

Some is probably intentional and some could be accidental; the bottum line is that when we put ourselves out there for the highest office in the land, we have to prepared for whatever. Obama has weathered the storms very well… but when we get invited to play the game on that big of a field it's whatever… any means necessary and that's on both sides.

Actually, didn't Obama refer to Matt as Tim about two months back? Just as that wasn't intentional, this isn't either.
