I was halfheartedly joking yesterday when I guessed that there would be a lot of tactless, racially-motivated humor in the Sex and the City movie, and I was pleasantly surprised when readers who had already seen the flick declared – however cattily – that I was way off base. Anthony Lane’s absolutely eviscerating New Yorker review of SATCTM reveals one rather glaring affront on the diversity that makes “the City” so damn great for those of us largely uninterested in its boutiques.
The article mentions one joke that touches on race. Does one joke make for "a lot of tactless, racially-motivated humor"?

eviscerating is an understatement for that review. damn! if it were a hip hop diss record, it would be "ether." lol. i want to see that movie now just to see if was that bad.
Yawn….I have no interest in this film.
The movie was awesome. Even my husband, whom I had to friggin bribe to go see it with me, really liked it.
The line in question, as solitaire says, is much ado.
