I grieve for the loss of a life & a child, a baby at that, being placed in that situation, but to have 6 different kids by 5 drug dealers says something about this woman & what she liked. Was being a drug dealer a pre-requisite that a man needed in order to be HER "man?"

Why is there always someone demonizing the victim? Who cares if the father of her children were deal dealers. She wasn't under suspicion so why was she executed and not the person for whom the warrant was being served.

We're having this same argument here in N.E. Ohio where I live. The situation: Victim had six kids by different fathers. Her oldest child had a beef with a family down the street. The kid from down the street set fire to their house after blocking the front and back doors of the house. Everyone inside died. And for some reason, the discussion here is centered on HER bad choices!(Interesting enough, the perpetrator is white. The victims are black.)

Don't get it twisted. We all make bad choices. The question is whether we deserve to die for them.

Death is death, and whether we are swayed by one person's death over another is purely subjective. So if there are some on here who choose to dissect this woman's death as mostly due to her association with drug dealers, it really isn't personal or because we are callous, out of touch bougies.

Let me just say–I LOVE BMD and almost always agree with her as I do in this case! She is a very strong, articulate Black Diva and I would really like to know her!! i live in lima ohio and here are the facts: she had custody of all her kids and was getting ready to go back to school, none of the recorded drug buys were made from her home, the suspect was downstairs and her along with ALL her kids were upstairs were she was shot in the back while holding her son and died in front of each and everyone of her children and nothing was found at the sence of the crime plus the suspect had already been aressted and out of the house when she was shot and the times the suspect had and the police force had were differnt read the lima news all of the facts are in there

the child is not dead she was holding him she was shot through the back twice he was hit once in the shoulder and the other one took his thumb off there were two shots not one

First what does it fucking matter if her other kids fathers were drug dealers. They always try to incriminate the victim. This is a tragedy. When is this gonna stop. People try and to relieve the situation but police was in no threat. People are just gun happy. Guns don't kill people but people with guns do.
