While Brand Nubian certainly wasn't speaking to me (or any of you, I'm sure) in "Slow Down," the basic message of the song — at least the chorus — is a good one for this time of the year. I for one, am slowing down, partially because it's time to reflect on 2007 and partially because I've eaten as much in this one week as I usually do in two. Ah, holidays.
