Since Prince is so litigious, making embeddable versions of his New Year's Eve anthem, "1999," quite hard to come by, I'm hitting you with Ice Cube's "Today Was A Good Day." Use your imagination and change "day" to "year" and it fits perfectly. This year was a bittersweet one for me — there were ups and downs, but everyone I care about is safe and healthy and gainfully employed, including myself, so I definitely can't complain much. Plus, I didn't have to use my AK. Not once. 2007 was a good year.

I predict even bigger and better things for all of us in 2008!
