Rewound

This song is for a very special friend (I do take Rewound requests, you know) with a very nerdy Tevin Campbell obsession. In her defense, I strongly doubt that someone of the right age and with the same general musical interests doesn't know every word to "Can We Talk" (or "I'm Ready," for that matter). Where is Tevin now? I'm sure more than one of you out there have been keeping track.

My godsister and I were in serious L-O-V-E with Tevin Campbell back in the day. We were brokenhearted when we had to face the facts. Talk about a N.E. Heartbreak! (That's my Rewound request… LOL)

I loved Tevin Campbell. I broke one of his tapes when I young from rewinding it so much! (remember rewinding tapes lol) He was in Toronto in November for an old school party. The flyer said he just came off broadway in Hairspray. I dont know how true that is. None of my friends would go with me. I wish I knew Lauren's "special friend" at the time. We woulda been at the front of the stage screaming the words to every song. lol

@NEENEE YES!!! Totally used to rewind and pause to learn the words to the songs!! WOW, I sang Mr. Campbell at just about EVERY talent show I'd enter. I swear you'd think that was the only song I knew. And lawd knows his cover of Prince's Break it Down was my jam!!! I actually think I prefer it over Prince's
