I LOVE Kelis!!!! (okay, I can calm down now! :))

She has no real talent. She just chants over music and can't really sing. I give credit where it is due so I will add that she seems to be an intelligent woman during interviews.

Well we all know that album sales have nothing to do with actual talent. I still love her music.

Remember when she was being called the Black Alanis Morrissette after this song?!! Oh well!

Classic track! Its just unfortunate that she's so underrated and overlooked here in the U.S. Peeps didn't bother to give her a real look until Milkshake and Bossy…and even then they werent ready to consume the full package. Their loss. "Wanderland"…classic!

I cosign, Gureala. I still listen to Kaleidascope all the time and that record, her first, is a decade old. Luv her.

I think part of the reason she has not sold well is because she is not a box artist. If anything, she is more rock and roll but that won't fly here in the good ole USof A since many people have a problem seeing black women in rock&roll in a major way. Her second albulm, was released only in Europe, gave us feel of her rock asperations.

I am also a Kelis stan Chic Noir so I feel ya. Ditto to what Gureala said about Wanderland b/c I got that import also and LOVE it! She's so underrated and yet they accept Rihanna's rock/pop aspirations without question? Whatever….Kelis is still ahead of the game and hopefully will drop some new music on us after the Greatest Hits cd.
