Rewound
Let the Boom Kat Hit Em

Three things. 1) This song makes me want to put on a puffy paint t-shirt and stretch pants, tease my bangs, and break out in early '90s dance moves. It's that good, and I thank my sister a million times for sending me this clip. 2) Lisa Lisa, nee Lisa Velez, is Puerto Rican and, thus, a fitting artist to highlight while I'm on my Puerto Rico vacation. Notice I'm still working. Do you admire my dedication? 3) Very observant viewers out there might notice a certain Laurie Ann Gibson dancing right behind Lisa Lisa for most of this live performance. The videos from around 1991, which I think casts a bit of doubt on my favorite choreographer's claims that she's 27-28.

definitely the best song of the early 90's urban dance music craze…it's so intricate.
