Ah, Warren G. It's been long, largely unproductive journey from then to now, ending in a turn on Celebrity Fit Club, where, in, one episode, he asked Dr. Ian if fried chicken was appropriate diet food. For Nate Dogg, the first and, frankly, only gangsta hook singer worth his salt, the career has been a bit more smooth-sailing. But really, neither of them ever did a thing that could top the song that made them famous, however briefly.

"Regulate," a catchy narrative tale that includes an operatic delivery of the line "I let my gat explode" and culminates in a post gunfight jaunt to the Eastsiiii-iiiiide Mote-e-e-e-eel, appeared on the infamous Above The Rim soundtrack. Although my fave from that album has to be SWV's "Anything," which you will definitely see here at some point, "Regulate" is probably a close second. Enjoy, but don't let the hip hop lyrical content police hear.
