Halle Berry, Aretha? I think not. Jennifer Hudson could kill this performance, expect for when Aretha catches the spirit toward the end. I question J-Hud's dancing chops after Dreamgirls, although I admit it is probably hard to dance next to Beyonce and a Broadway star.

Aretha asking that Halle play her part is comparable to Aretha asking Angelina Jolie to play her in a movie.

I think Halle would say no anyway. I really do. Unless she gets to bone a white dude in the biopic. If that's in the script, well then, there's always hope for Halle.
