Rihanna and Chris Brown, the Beyonce and Jay-Z for those born after 1990, are all grown up. At least, they are making grown up moves by deciding to cohabitate and are supposedly looking at condos in LA. One requirement: lots of sound-proofing, because they play their music loud. Does that mean that they play their music loud or they just play any music loud? That detail would probably make all the difference in the world to their future neighbors. By the third round of "Umbrella" or "Forever," I'd be drafting a strongly-worded letter to the condo board while trying to resist the curious urge to chew some Doublemint gum. [DListed]

Rihanna is making a big mistake with this one. A woman should never lay up with a man that she ain't married to. Why clean his dirty draws,pick up his socks,cook for him, and be his freak on demand without a weding ring.
Cohabitation before marriage is such a bad idea. I'm not being old fashioned. I'm being practical. It kills the relationship. When you marry then move in together, you know you can't just walk out because he won't do his damn dishes.
I'd rather hear that the soundproofing is or music. Kelis went into TMI category when she informed us all that her real estate choices were based on all the loud sex they had.
I moved in with my now husband and it was a learning experience. We were about Chris's and Rihanna's age when we met. We've been together 15yrs now. I think that you're less set in your ways when you're younger and more open to compromise. You almost grow up together. I wish them the best if they do plan to live together first. They should definitely talk to a lawyer about assets etc but other than that be patient with each other and enjoy being together.
Rihanna is almost broke and she needs to make a major move that will prolong her celebrity beyong "Good Girl Gone Bad". This makes sense for her.

I don't know why I clicked on this, I can not stand either of them. But I will say they are a bit young for this.
Personally I dont care. That is their business. I will say that moving in with someone before marriage isnt a bad idea. That way you know how the person lives like are they lazy, do they keep the house clean, what they watch on tv etc. It may sound petty but living with someone these are the things you want to know espcially if you are considering spending the rest of your life with someone. That why there are a lot of people getting divorced because once they move in togther they realize they live 2 separate lives.
Chic Noir, now you know with all their little endorsement money (Gucci, Doublemint, anyone), they aren't doing any chores themselves. They'll just pop each other's pimples and chew Doublemint gum. LOL

Marriage is such a bullshit, and overrated institution. There is absolutely nothing wrong with two people living together as a couple, without a marriage licence. The last time I checked the year was 2008, and not 1808, where quite a few of you seem to be living.
