Can't we all just get…Rodney King to Alcoholics Anonymous? The man made famous for getting the shit beat out of him in 1991 by a group of LA's finest, whose acquittal inspired the infamous and deadly LA riots, was shot with pellets in the shoulders, face, and back while riding his bike in a shady part of town yesterday. He pedaled about a mile to his house and then called the police. Apparently, he was drunk at the time and police are still trying to figure out what is "factual" about the series of events King described. I will hand it to the man — at least he wasn't drinking and driving. [LAT]

Rodney King needs to stay in the house or some thing. Trouble follows this guy it seems, at least it wasnt the cops who got him this time. Maybe he should start a riot in that shady neighborhood. At least he wasnt driving lol.

Ahhh…the riots. The good ol' days. I saw my first army tank (rolling down the streets of Long Beach) b/c of them. I swear, this dude has 9 lives - how many of which are left I don't know, but he's going to out live us all.

I don't think you're allowed to bike drunk. You'd still be dangerous to yourself, pedestrians and drivers.

Sure. If he's suicidal. Your statement infers that he started the LA riots which is completely incorrect. He never asked for it nor was he a part of it. I was 7 at the time and not living in the US at that point and I know this as it's part of America's not-so-distant history.
