Addie Polk, a 90-year-old Akron, OH, resident, shot herself in her foreclosed home Wednesday as sheriff's deputies knocked on her door. She's expected to recover. Today on the House floor, Rep. Dennis Kucinich said that the bailout bill that was later passed did nothing to rescue the Addie Polks out there. [ABJ]
