Stranger than fiction:
"Hillary Clinton enthusiastically picked a filly named Eight Belles to win the Kentucky Derby and compared herself to the horse. Eight Belles finished second. The winner was the favorite, Big Brown.
Eight Belles collapsed immediately after crossing the finish line, and was euthanized shortly thereafter."
Get it? Big Brown wins! But take away the presidential metaphor and I feel really bad for the dead horse. [TIME]
*Thanks, KA!
Oh well. More Iams and glue.
wow.
I found nothing funny about the horse dying at the Derby. Bunch of rich white guys don't give a f–k about animal rights/horses' welfare. All they care about is overworking horses for their own greed and hunger for money.
Jeez no, the horse dying unto itself isn't funny as for the reasons BoredKidz said. Senator Clinton picking a losing horse–dead or alive–and comparing her to that horse. Maybe not comedy, but definitely cringe-worthy.
She can sure pick some metaphors. First she compares herself to Rocky, an out of shape white fighter who loses to a black guy. Then she picks Eight Belles, cause it's the only female in the race and it comes in second and has to be shot. Is she making predictions here?
Hahahahahahahahaha….
Too bad for Hill, Too sad for the horse, Too good for Bama (?) methaphoricaly pictured as a winning (good) stallion (Mmm <>)…
But how low is this campaign going to go ? Is this political-ish anymore. This makes no sense.
Don't give up your day job.
She should stop it with the metaphors already.
Its like she's beating a dead horse with this stuff…
Hind sight is 20/20. Generally, horses don't die afterwards and politicians overuse metaphors. That she picks bad ones just means she shoulda taken several communications classes during college
poor horse was probably doomed as soon as bad news hillbilly picked it! this has to be the murphy's law example of derby picks. not only did it lose but it had to be euthanized. dang, hill…
I feel bad for the horses and I think all animal racing should be outlawed. but maybe Hillary did curse the horse and its an omen about whats going to happen in the election. Its so strange you would think it was made up.
