But He Is More Than Star Jones' Ex

alreynolds.jpgAl Reynolds wants people to know that he's more than just Star Jones' ex-husband. Good luck with that. He recently took to YouTube, as everyone does these days, to plead his case and to announce once and for all that he is not and has never been a homosexual. Although, he sort of gets why we would think that. See, he's from the South and likes to dress nice and is a stickler for cleanliness. That's why he thinks people believe he's gay? Anyway, if you don't care to watch, you can read some his not so convincing earnest defense of his heterosexuality, cleanliness, and passion for fashion after the jump.

reynolds.jpgBIZARRO CLUB SCENE At NYC's Home nightclub last week, Al Reynolds — wearing a white button-down shirt with a diamond necklace hanging out — was spotted dancing with a "pretty big," "buxom" lady friend all night. The cycle begins again? The source of this information, a cocktail waitress at the club, also said that he was drinking all night with his "pinky in the air." On the same night, she says, Diddy was also there, sitting in the corner reading a book. Remember, he's a thespian now.

Star & Al: 2004-2008
darkroom_staral7.jpg When Star Jones announced her divorce from Al Reynolds, her husband of nearly four years, she requested that the media give them privacy. I'm ignoring that request just this once in order to offer a photographic retrospective of their monumental relationship (and, incidentally, the incredibly-shrinking Star).

The rumors about Al Reynolds sexuality have dogged him and Star Jones since before they even got married, and now it's all over. There's no telling if Al's rumored extracurricular activities are what caused Star to finally file for divorce a month ago, but who are we kidding? Here's what she said to Entertainment Tonight:

"Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce. The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone's life that requires privacy with one's thoughts… I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman."

This statement is filled with good advice for publicity hungry celebrities (I'm talkin' to you, Eva Longoria-Parker) — if you don't want the press to cover your inevitable possible future divorce, you shouldn't invite them all to the wedding.

BREAKING: STAR JONES IS DIFFICULT TO TOLERATE "Sad news for those of you left who believed in Star Jones and Al Reynolds‘ fairytale romance. The marriage, which has survived three years, is on the verge of ending."

I'm not sure what message Star, Al, and Co. are trying to convey in this shot — I'm thinking carefree, youthful, drunk, Miami-beachy — but Star, among others, is a bit to old to make it believable. You're on Court TV, for goodness' sake. Put your leg down.

It was nice of Kim Porter to release her sons to her ex for the weekend, so they could dress up in miniature white Diddy outfits and shades with their brother Justin and hang out at an event they are all too young for.

Diddy's annual white party was Sunday at his Hamptons estate, and Page Six makes it sound a lot cooler than it looks in the pictures.

Sources inside told Page Six one unfortunate man was made to strip off his cream-colored pants in the street, in exchange for a pure-white pair provided by Diddy. The over-the-top soirée, held at Diddy's East Hampton waterfront mansion, featured painted geishas strolling the grounds, Polynesian dancers, a jazz band and a circus performer twirling six spinning rings. Mariah Carey, Star Jones and hubby Al Reynolds, and Donna Karan were among the celebs who managed to follow the rigid dress-code regulations. Others included Lil' Kim, Lorraine Bracco, Brooke Shields, Tommy Lee and Russell Simmons.

Check out the pics, minus Mariah Carey, who skipped the red carpet it seems, after the jump.

Las Vegas Debauchery, Kentucky Ridiculousness, and the Premiere of Shrek the Third

taodiddyjayz.jpg

The vast majority of the pictures from the Tao Beach Grand Opening festivities in Vegas over the weekend are pretty ridiculous, and the one above says it all. It screams we're-rich-and-powerful-and-drunk-and-our-girlfriends-aren't-here, doesn't it? I couldn't justify giving the photo of the two of them holding stacks of cash (I'm serious) the place of prominence in the post, but check it and others from the weekend out after the jump.
