I would think that Angela Simmons has a bit more sense than to go back to Bow Wow, but, as rumor has it, she's dumped pro-skateboarder Terry Kennedy and is back in the arms of the rapper/actor, who would like you to know that he has sex all the time. Well, that's my interpretation of the rumor, anyway. Page Six is reporting that its Vanessa Simmons who's dating Bow Wow, but it seems the folks at the NY Post got Rev. Run's daughters a bit confused. The two seem pretty close, but not sloppy-seconds close. Then again, this error could be proof that the whole thing is untrue. Ah, gossip!

The Best Of Neither World?

• T.I. and Nelly are recording an album together. That's… odd. [UMB]

• I don't really want to say anything bad about Angela Simmons. She and her siblings seem like very nice kids/adults. [CL]

• This only matters if you care about New York. The drag-queen-ish reality star, I mean. Not the state. [Bossip]

• Chaka Khan probably won't be returning to the West End. [BV]

• I certainly would not like to make Jill Scott mad. [SB]

Simmons Sings

• Meanwhile, her dad, Rev Run, her step-mom Justine, and her little sister Miley pose for Jet. [Bossip]

• And Rev Run's former rap partner goes to the hospital… [People]

• In unrelated news, Denzel vacations with his two daughters in St. Tropez. [CL]

• Baltimore DJ K-Swift dies tragically in her hometown. [NB]

Oh, yeah. Black Models.

julyvogue.jpg• Anna Wintour couldn't let that all-black Vogue Italia issue come out without a response, however weak, from American Vogue. [FB]

• Amy Winehouse is as healthy as a 92-year-old woman. [MG]

• Kanye West defends Soulja Boy in his beef with Ice-T, then loses a bit of ground when he applauds the young rappers skills a lyricist and compares him to Nas. [Bossip]

• Is Angela Simmons channeling Nicole Richie/Mary-Kate Olsen? [NB]

• Funny lunch. [CL]

pepsi_jamiefoxx.jpg Jamie Foxx showed up to the Pepsi Stuff launch party last night looking a bit like a Black Panther with a variety drug addictions. Maybe for a movie? Hopefully for a movie?

Omarion and Bow Wow, who looks to have recovered nicely from the harrowing moments he spent on Tyra's lap, performed in LA last night at a launch party for Chris Stokes' t-shirt line. It must have been a slow night in LA, because quite a few semi-celebs, including Solange Knowles, Shar Jackson, and the Simmons sisters, showed up. Pics after the jump.

Omarion and Bow Wow = BFF

bowwowomarion.jpg
• Bow Wow and Omarion dismiss relationship rumors about Angela Simmons and Rihanna. They're focusing on their own close relationship these days. [MTV]

• Does Luda improves 50 Cent's "I Get Money?" [SOHH]

• OJ Simpson's book might hit the shelves soon, but Barnes & Noble wants nothing to do with it. [SP]

• This is what Major League Baseball will look like in 20 years. [SH]

• Kanye West thinks Justin Timberlake is his biggest inspiration and competition. You and K-Fed both, Kanye. [SP]

I'm shocked no one is searching "Iraq War Fatalities" Or Something

beyoncepartingshots.jpg
Beyonce's fall is the most searched thing on the web, proving that next time she should try reverse psychology and ask the audience to put her pratfalls on YouTube. [EUR]

• I will never defend Cam'ron's stupid "stop snitchin'" comments, but I don't think 50 Cent is really qualified to criticize him for saying something inappropriate. [SP]

• The house that "Flavor of Love" built needs to be burned. [Bossip]

• Is Angela Simmons not so angelic after all? [RWS]

• When you're a white Republican politician embroiled in a salacious gay sex scandal, go ahead and use the "Lindsay Lohan." It won't work, but in your constituents probably think being a racist is probably a lot more acceptable than being gay. [NS]

I Can't Tell If They Left Their Respective Reality Show Cameras At Home

auction_simmons.jpg

At least one scheduled event in the Hamptons went off without a hitch Saturday (ahem, Usher). The Simmons clan, Nia Long, Forest Whitaker, and others lent their celebrity and their dollars to the 8th Annual Art For Life "Not So Mellow Yellow" Auction in East Hampton.

Don't Worry, It Will Be On 10 Times A Day For The Next Two Weeks

mtv_rihannaumbrella.jpg
From the picture, can you guess which song Rihanna sang at the MTV Movie Awards last night? Although the penultimate episode of the Soprano's series pulled me away from the awards early, I did get a chance to listen to Rihanna sing Um-ba-rella (not so well, if you ask me) and watch Sara Silverman try her hardest to make Paris Hilton cry. I've always felt that the MTV Movie Awards were too scripted and completely pointless. The snippet I saw last night validated this. The Chicago Tribune has a nice rundown of the event in case you missed it. Check out more pics from the awards below.

Why do Celebrity Sneakers Have To Be Named After Food?

simmonssisters.jpg

  • The Simmons ladies launch their sneaker line, Pastry. I'll disregard the obvious similarities to Pharrell's Ice Creams and simply say that these shoes will make tween girls cross the country very happy. [C&I]
  • Halle Berry soothes her Perfect Stranger disappointment with a shopping spree for baby clothes. [TMZ]
  • Scary Spice throws the book at Eddie Murphy. No, the book in question is not the written version of Pluto Nash, although that would probably hurt worse than being sued for paternity. [People]
  • The NCAA thinks the best way to soothe college students hit hard by Hurricane Katrina is to take away their sports programs. [ESPN]
  • Al Sharpton, time to mobilize! Don Imus could possibly get a $40 million severance package. Quite the punishment. [Jossip]
  • Rihanna loses her innocence on her new album. I'm a little confused, because I'm not sure how much skimpier or tighter her onstage outfits can get. [Starpulse]
