I would think that Angela Simmons has a bit more sense than to go back to Bow Wow, but, as rumor has it, she's dumped pro-skateboarder Terry Kennedy and is back in the arms of the rapper/actor, who would like you to know that he has sex all the time. Well, that's my interpretation of the rumor, anyway. Page Six is reporting that its Vanessa Simmons who's dating Bow Wow, but it seems the folks at the NY Post got Rev. Run's daughters a bit confused. The two seem pretty close, but not sloppy-seconds close. Then again, this error could be proof that the whole thing is untrue. Ah, gossip!

Bow Wow really, really, really, really wants us to know that shooting a sex scene with a porn star on Entourage was no big thing, because it's normal for him. It happens. It happens all the time, okay!!!!

And if you're a lady and would like to remain in control of your sanity, you might want to skip this episode. Because you will go crazy if you see it.

"After 16 years in the music industry and six successful albums, I've decided to shift my energy to something else I'm passionate about, acting," he said. "I'm going to try to be the next Will Smith." Doesn't everybody? Coming up, he has a recurring role on Entourage as a stand-up comic and he'll act alongside Forest Whitaker and Isaiah Washington in the sports drama, Patriots.

• The Arizona legislature wants to get rid of race-based student groups — Black student unions, Asian students associations, etc. — at state universities and community colleges. Says the architect of the proposal: “This bill basically says, ‘You’re here. Adopt American values,’” State Rep. John Kavanagh, a Republican, told The Arizona Republic. “‘If you want a different culture, then fine, go back to that culture." Nice. [OHN]

• Since we all live in a country where there have only been three black senators since Reconstruction and just two black elected governors, many of us know that Ferraro's affirmative-action-in-politics rhetoric is idiotic. Despite the whirlwind of controversy surrounding Omarion's mentor and friend, the young singer, along with Bow Wow, his partner in sub par rap/R&B duets, released the new video for their song, "Going Back to Cali," I mean, "Hey Baby." They manage to keep the blatant homoeroticism to a minimum, here. Congrats, guys.

Last year, Bow Wow's solo album opened at No. 6 with 262,000 sold, and Omarion's solo venture opened at No. 1 with 119,000 sold. This year, the friends collaborated to make Face Off, which sold only 107,000 in it's first week and didn't even make it into the top 10 of the Billboard 200. This kind of reminds me of Ne-Yo's song "Make Me Better," but in reverse.

Predictably, it's Omarion, the one that didn't make a fool out of himself, who is defending Bow Wow for taking a spoof interview on BET way, way too seriously. To make a long explanation short, Omarion basically cops to the duo having major chips on their shoulders and wanting to be treated like 50 Cent or Game. Oh, really?

I seem to recall Ashton Kutcher punking Bow Wow a few years ago and him taking it all in stride. Unfortunately, old age has apparently obliterated his ability to take a joke. That's real talk!

It will be a while before the episode of MTV's My Super Sweet Sixteen starring Quincy Brown, the unofficial stepson of Diddy and the actual son of Kim Porter and Al B. Sure, airs. But rest assured that Diddy allowed no stop to go unpulled for the party, which happened this weekend and featured guests like Lauren London, Bow Wow, Omarion, Chris Brown, Hurricane Chris, Crime Mob, and Jermaine Dupri. No Cassie, though. Rev Run brought little Diggy, who posed on the red carpet with Justin and Christian Combs. I hope they don't corrupt him. More pics after the jump.

Bow Wow is crediting his best friend Omarion with saving him from a failed career and a shitty personality.

The hip hop star claims he was an arrogant 18-year-old heading for career downfall when R&B star Omarion took him aside when they toured together two years ago.

Bow Wow, 20, says,"Omarion was man enough to approach me and say he didn't like the way I was acting. I was the youngest person on the tour and, man, was I immature and arrogant."

It's wonderful that Omarion helped Bow Wow to be a better person, but he should hold off on all that career talk until the Face Off numbers come in. [SP]
