In Angie Stone's new song with Betty Wright called "Baby," she sings about a relationship that went south because her significant other started to feel like he was too good for her. I wonder where she got that idea from? The video takes Stone's D'Angelo drama and twists it into a whole dramatic hero storyline involving Eva Pigford as a movie star and Mike Epps as an unlikely hero. |

It all seems more than a little excessive to me, but Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Will Smith, and Jada Pinkett all thought it was necessary to throw David and Victoria Beckham a lavish, star-studded "Welcome to America" party yesterday at the Museum of Contemporary Art's Geffen Contemporary gallery in LA. I'm shocked and amazed at the lack of major fashion don'ts last night, considering the crowd. Even Lil' Kim, while I wouldn't have chosen that outfit/makeup/hair necessarily, could have done much, much worse. I'm not saying there weren't some questionable wardrobe and hair choices — I'm talking to Keyshia Cole and Vivica Fox specifically, here — but in general things were looking pretty good.
