We don't often hear from Halle Berry's model boyfriend, Gabrielle Aubry. Maybe that's because he's busy flying around the world posing for ad campaigns, or maybe he just isn't fond of the spotlight. Little Nahla's broke his silence on the red carpet last night to tell a reporter that he and Halle were "working on" having more kids and that they have no plans to marry. [Us]

The 12th Annual American Black Film Festival went down this weekend in L.A., and it attracted black actors and filmmakers from across the celebrity spectrum. Halle Berry is suing the paparazzo who snapped pictures of her four-month-old daughter recently. The photo captions said that mother and daughter were "out and about," but they were actually in Berry's garden. Berry is accusing the photog of trespassing on her property in order to get the shots; in California, that's a criminal offense. Earlier, Berry told the AP: "I have long since come to terms with the fact that choosing a career as an actress has made me a public figure, but my baby has made no such choice, and unless and until she does, I will do everything I can… to keep her out of the public eye."

So often in Darkroom, I post photo retrospectives of stars going from busted to beautiful (ashy to classy, if you will) or vice versa, but it's a rare star who, despite some troubling fashion moments, remains so consistently gorgeous throughout her entire career. For the sake of Halle Berry's movie reviews, let's hope that having a baby opened up a previously untapped emotional for the actress. She just signed on to star in and produce her first post-Nahla movie. The film, Frankie & Alice, is about a woman with multiple personality disorder; one of her personalities is a racist white person. Berry, of course, plays the mentally ill woman. It sounds like the sort of drama that could be unintentionally humorous if it's not done well. So let's hope it's done well. [E!]
