The Week That Will Go Down In History

• This week, Barack Obama:
Left his church, became the first African American to become a major party's presidential nominee, dapped up Michelle in public, slaughtered John McCain in a speech competition, caused Anderson Cooper to ponder becoming Donna Brazile's boo, and got some serious vice president pressure from HRC supporters.

• The MTV Movie Awards were filmed! Chris Brown and Rihanna sat together! But I suppose all celebrity gossip news this week sort of pales in comparison to the events described above.

• Interestingly, Naomi Campbell and Andre Leon Talley knew ahead of time that they were not attending a costume party.
