What Did Vivica Fox Wish For When She Blew Out 43 Candles?

Something nice about Vivica Fox on her 43rd birthday:

Despite the disappearing hairline, the collagen, and the silicone, the woman actually does look good for her age.

Something bad:

From the looks of the pictures, not too many of her celebrity friends decided to show up at her NYC birthday party last night. Even Jessica Simpson was a no show! In attendance were some some stylists, a couple of ANTM contestants (Nik and Keenyah, in case you were wondering) and Remy Ma, who was not only wearing basically the same dress (in red) as the birthday girl, but she actually had better hair, too.

Interviewers Would Rather Talk To Vivica Fox About Jessica Simpson Than Herself

The rules that apply to people, like Shar Jackson, who never should have been stars to begin with — you know, getting excited to see the paparazzi, enthusiastically answering questions about the more famous people you know — also apply to fallen stars. Take, for instance, Vivica "Hairline" Fox, who was interviewed by People Saturday, not about herself, but about her costar Jessica Simpson.

Apparently, she's brave, gracious, and down for anything, three traits that anyone who watched an episode of Newlyweds would know she does not really possess. Forget the interview, the sheer fact Vivica Fox is playing a supporting role in a Jessica Simpson vanity film should be enough evidence that her career is in trouble.

Last Night

"Poiret: King of Fashion" Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The annual Costume Institute gala was held in NYC last night, and many of our brightest stars came out, although I'm not sure why some were invited. I've been missing the glamorous, evening gown version of Jennifer Hudson since awards season ended, so I'm thrilled to see her in formal mode.
