Brown beauties Sanaa Lathan, Gabrielle Union, Joy Bryant, and Zoe Saldana showed up to the launch of the Rogan for Target GO International Line at Barney's. Don't ask me why Target was launching a clothing line at Barney's. It seems sort of self-hating.

One of the most glamorous annual events in New York City, the Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, was held last night. As usual, the stars showed up to the party — this year's theme was "Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy" — in all of their designer finery, and as usual, some gowns were finer than others. I really like Joy Bryant and would like to support her career endeavors, but something tells me her new movie, Welcome Home, Roscoe Jenkins, won't really be my cup to tea. I'll post pictures from the premiere event, how about that?
