Marques Houston, that girl from My Wife and Kids and a bunch of other D-F listers attended the premiere of Somebody Help Me, an "urban thriller" starring Houston and Omarion and directed by (surprise) Chris Stokes. Here's the synopsis from IMDB:
Based on this plot summary, the fact that Omarion didn't even show up to the premiere, and my own common sense, no one in their right mind is going to see this film. Pics of the random premiere-goers after the jump. CONTINUED » |

I know you have a tough job. I have a puppy, and that's hard enough. I can't imagine what it's like to be responsible for actual human beings. For some of you, like Kim Fields, new mother of Sebastian, and the proud, book-writing Donda West, motherhood is beautiful. For others, like beleaguered Melanie Brown and fired momager Jonetta Patton, it ain't always easy. I hope Usher sent the latter some diamonds or something for all of her hard work building his career. Probably not. I don't have diamond money, but I have a blog. So I want to thank the mothers in my life — my late grandmothers, Loretta and Audrey, my dear aunts, San, Deni, Debbiy, Tira, Cheryl, and Diane, and, last but not least, the greatest mother a girl could ask for, Andrea Williams. You're my best friend, and I love you more than words can express. Happy Mother's Day to you and everyone else! Lots of love, |
![]() Boys II Men outshone in their own video
We can overlook the fact when "On Bended Knee" came out, a single, barely-teenage version of me wanted a boyfriend just so that I could break up with him and he could sing me this song to win me back. I chose this today because the lovely ladies in the video are more famous these days than the once-mighty Boys II Men. Where are they, anyway? Well, we know where the women are. Kim Fields just had a baby. Victoria Rowell is dating a baby. And, it's not as timely, but Lark Voorhies/Lisa Turtle was recently involved in some sort of Lindsay Lohan-esque coke scandal that rocked the Saved By The Bell fan club's universe, I'm sure. Whatever keeps 'em in the papers. |

Congrats, Kim Fields
