• 50 Cent is not content to let Lil Wayne be the big seller of 2008. [MTV]

Diddy, seen here with Lauren London and his ubiquitous "employee" Cassie at BET's Rip the Runway show last night, visited David Letterman recently and explained his plan to rule the entertainment world. He co-stars in the made-for-TV version of Lorraine Hansberry's A Raisin in the Sun, which airs Monday at 8pm on ABC. Here, he explains to Letterman the sorts of movie roles he wants.

"Yeah, leading man kind of stuff; you know, jumping off of buildings," Combs says in an appearance scheduled to air Friday on CBS' "Late Show With David Letterman."

Besides action-packed adventure, the rapper-producer's ideal film roles would also include "making love to beautiful women" and "very emotional, heart-wrenching scenes."

Why do I feel like his agent tries to include a "making love to beautiful women" stipulation in all of his contracts?

After the jump, check out more pics of poorly-dressed semi-celebs at the BET fashion event.

It will be a while before the episode of MTV's My Super Sweet Sixteen starring Quincy Brown, the unofficial stepson of Diddy and the actual son of Kim Porter and Al B. Sure, airs. But rest assured that Diddy allowed no stop to go unpulled for the party, which happened this weekend and featured guests like Lauren London, Bow Wow, Omarion, Chris Brown, Hurricane Chris, Crime Mob, and Jermaine Dupri. No Cassie, though. Rev Run brought little Diggy, who posed on the red carpet with Justin and Christian Combs. I hope they don't corrupt him. More pics after the jump.

Lil Wayne gets around in black celebrity (I use this word loosely, of course) circles, having been intimately linked with Trina, Nivea, Karrinne Steffans, and Lauren London, to name a few. In Ozone Magazine's Sex Issue, he reveals why he's so charming with the ladies.

To paraphrase: He will never answer the phone during sex, but mainly because his body is very sensitive, and he will likely be busy screaming. On the other hand, screaming during sex is for jumpoffs. When he's making love he just breathes in the girl's ear. Also, he is tiny everywhere but in his genital region, and that requires him to avoid sex of the animalistic variety. His mother is well aware of this, because, one time, she had to take him to the hospital to have his hernia treated.

His words, after the jump!

Looking forward to an Imus-free weekend

pattilabelle.jpg• Patti LaBelle is the mother of all gays. Her words. [C&D]

• Lauren London and Lil Wayne are a match made in…I don't know. But definitely not heaven. [Bossip]

• Mannie Fresh's sister was murdered. R.I.P. [SP]

• Blah blah blah, Jay-Z's phony, blah blah blah. [NYMag]

• Are Will Smith and Tyler Perry smarter than you? It's very likely they're a lot richer. [EW]

Common and Chris Brown, two of my favorites, bonded at yesterday's LA premiere of Chris Brown's family holiday movie, This Christmas. A large portion of black Hollywood was also there — maybe because a large portion of black Hollywood is in the movie. More pics after the jump.

How Often Are Comebacks Good Ideas?

eldebarge.jpg
• El DeBarge is officially planning a comeback, but he might want to iron out those legal issues first. [SP]

• MTV Arabia will probably only find about 3 percent of most of the programming on MTV USA appropriate for broadcast. [AHH]

• For the Lauren London and Chris Brown fans out there. [BV]

• Oh, please Ne-Yo. [TMZ]

• One reason why Rihanna and Shia LaBeouf should always use protection. [INO]

This new video is perfect for any Lauren London, Common, Lily Allen, Entourage, or crazy astronaut lady fans out there. And really, if you're not interested in one of those people/things, I don't know why you're reading this blog. I mean, who doesn't love the crazy astronaut lady?

By the way, have I mentioned I don't really like Common — aesthetically speaking — without his hat? The hat should stay on.

ff_common.jpg

Target threw Common — 9th best MC in the game right now, according to MTV — a nice little Finding Forever release party attended by a random group of people, including two Diana Ross progeny, Serena Williams and Lauren London. No rapper friends showed love?

I'm shocked and amazed at the lack of major fashion don'ts last night, considering the crowd. Even Lil' Kim, while I wouldn't have chosen that outfit/makeup/hair necessarily, could have done much, much worse. I'm not saying there weren't some questionable wardrobe and hair choices — I'm talking to Keyshia Cole and Vivica Fox specifically, here — but in general things were looking pretty good. More red carpet pics than you can handle after the jump.

Part 2: More Celebrities Posing Away Their Dignity

amerie2.jpg

Look how happy Amerie is to be posing with her very own leather BET bag! Yesterday, more stars in town for the BET Awards filed into the "Backstage Creations Talent Retreat" to pick up some free electronics and bags embossed with the network logo. The only one not posing with some merchandise is Flavor Flav, but probably got the publicists didn't think an image of him touching one of their products would make any of us plebes consider going out and buying them. Check out the rest of the pics after the jump.
