nicolemurphymichaelstrahan.jpg Nicole Murphy, Eddie's ex, along with her current boyfriend, NFLer Michael Strahan, Jason Kidd's ex-wife Joumana, and Patrick Ewing's ex-wife Rita, were spotted in NYC having a discussion about a planned "First Wives Club" reality show. Seriously, ladies? Now, I'm not even going to pretend to know what these ladies suffered at the hands of their famous men (there were those domestic abuse allegations from Kidd), but there have got to be classier choices out there. Also, Shar Jackson already tried this. It didn't work. [PS]

Babyface's new song sounds almost like a country tune — and I mean that in a bad way — but the sentiment is sweet. He wrote Not Going Nowhere for children whose parents are going through a divorce. He should pass it along to his ex-wife Tracey Edmonds who should then pass it along to Eddie Murphy. He can learn the lyrics and sing it to his children with Nicole. That daughter he had with Mel B? Well, there's no point in telling her he's not going anywhere if he was never there to begin with.

While some people might feel a certain way about the way Eve's paw-print tattoos look when she's in formal wear, I actually think that she pulls them off. It's like a trademark.

It should be said that it's not the sort of thing a non-rapper/sort-of-actress can make work as successfully. More pics from the 7th on Sale Black-Tie Gala, where Eve showed off her class and sass, after the jump.

It must warm Eddie Murphy's heart to know that his two baby mamas have moved on. Ex-wife Nicole is dating football player Michael Strahan (seen here at last night's Boy Genius Report anniversary party), who just recently finished a messy divorce battle during which his ex-wife accused him and best friend Dr. Ian of being lovers. Mel B, as we all know, is deep in wedded bliss with her duck-killing hubby, Stephen Belafonte.

It's like everything is tied up in a nice little package! Except for those pesky paternal responsibilities. If only those would disappear, Eddie and Tracey could live complication-free lives.

Melanie Brown, who must have taken a crash course in publicity 101 as soon as Eddie Murphy left her, is doing everything humanly possible to strike fear in the heart of her daughter's deadbeat dad.

Wednesday, she held a press conference during which her attorney Gloria Allred called Eddie Murphy out for buying Tracey Edmonds an expensive engagement ring and not spending a dime on his new daughter.

Yesterday, she held another press conference of sorts (under the guise of a friendly lunch at the Ivy) with Nicole Murphy, Eddie's "legitimate daughter Bella," and the newest Murphy, Angel Iris. They put on a nice show of solidarity for the cameras.

"They seemed really friendly toward one another," says an onlooker of the pair, who wore curve-hugging dresses and posed for cameras outside. "They had a pretty private meal in the back corner, away from all of us."

…Baby Angel was already getting to know her half-sister, and Nicole Murphy – whose divorce from the actor was finalized in April 2006 after 12 years – even comforted the crying child when mom Brown went to the restroom. She rocked Angel until Mom returned, then the two new friends continued laughing and playing with the baby.

Scared yet, Eddie?
