But It Was Omarosa. Does That Count?

Wendy Williams will make herself a huge television star yet. She's already completed the first step in making her readers skyrocket — an ugly on-air fight with a wholly unsympathetic person. On her show yesterday, the infamous-in-NYC Williams said a few choice things about guest Omarosa during her intro, and things just went downhill from there.

Good thing he didn't turn out like the elder Jermaine

• Jermaine Dupri was named after Jermaine Jackson. That's just weird. [People]

• Chaka Khan doesn't seem like the nervous type, but she's shaking in her boots over her upcoming debut on Broadway in The Color Purple. [SP]

• More senseless racism. More Al Sharpton. [SIA]

Omarosa will enter Donald Trump's boardroom as a contestant on Celebrity Apprentice, although it was The Apprentice that made her famous (in the loosest sense of the word) to begin with.

Joining her will be George Foreman, which I totally get, and Kimora Lee Simmons, which has me scratching my head. Doesn't she have her own reality show? I don't see why she feels the need to join a motley crew of D-Listers on a ridiculous celebrity spin-off of a dying television show. Unless it's just for the attention, which makes total sense considering who we're dealing with.

I'm not saying there weren't some questionable wardrobe and hair choices — I'm talking to Keyshia Cole and Vivica Fox specifically, here — but in general things were looking pretty good. More red carpet pics than you can handle after the jump.
