Now, Jackson has requested to read every S.S. correspondence concerning him and his family dating back to the 1980s. He's convinced the "Righteous Reverend" email wasn't a one-time thing. That's probably a good guess. The Secret Service is charged with investigating threats, not initiating them. This gives you some sense, some insight, into what may be taking place there," he said. "The Congress of the United States has oversight responsibilities and we're going to be looking very carefully at what's going on there." One things for sure, if this Secret Service lawsuit was flying under the radar, it won't be anymore. |

According to a document filed in court last week as part of a lawsuit brought against the Secret Service by 10 black agents, the man who is now head of the presidential protective detail sent racially and sexually charged jokes to head of the Cincinnati office. The government filed the incriminating document a month late, which is par for the course in this lawsuit, says a lawyer for the plaintiffs. "The government's delay follows a pattern of the Secret Service stonewalling plaintiffs and ignoring court orders, depriving African-American agents of the fundamental evidence of race discrimination that is key to their claims," the lawyer told UPI. |

AND ANOTHER ONE "The U.S. Secret Service has placed an agent on leave after an African-American employee reported finding a noose hanging at the agency's main training facility outside the nation's capital. It has acknowledged 'an allegation of misconduct' at its J.J. Rowley Training Center in Beltsville, Md., and that it placed the employee on administrative leave last week, pending the outcome of an investigation. The employee is a veteran agent with the Secret Service, according to fellow agents." |
![]() It was only a matter of time...
Somehow, it's not surprising that the first black candidate for president with a chance in hell of winning is also the first presidential candidate to be assigned Secret Service protection this early in the election. Fox News says Barack Obama's camp requested the protection and was granted it for a number of reasons. According to the Secret Service, this move was not spurred by any specific threats on Obama's life. According to moi, yeah right. We all know this guy's life gets threatened at least 10 times a day.
