goldberg.jpgRon Goldberg, one of the new owners of Death Row Records, which infamous former owner Suge Knight was ordered to sell as part of his bankruptcy, was involved in a violent melee at an LA club last night. Maybe we've been to hard on Suge Knight all of these years. Perhaps it was the label's mystical powers that were making him such an aggressive, testosterone-filled, menacing bully! Then again, perhaps not.

» Suge, Good Night

That punch that felled him outside of an LA club last month was only a small part of Suge Knight's chronic (ha!) bad luck over the past few years. Death Row Records has been purchased for $24 million after a bankruptcy judge ruled that Knight had to sell all of his assets. The sale includes 20 unreleased tracks from Tupac. Knight was forced to sell after he lost an appeal of the judge's ruling earlier this week. Some might call this karma. [EUR]

rayj.jpgWe all know Ray J is sort of opportunistic and self-centered and desperate to be more famous. He also has some interesting-but-troubling childhood stories. His parents were clearly busy managing his more famous sibling. He recently gave an interview to Rhapsody.com, and he explains how he was immersed in the Death Row scene throughout his teens, smoking copious blunts with Tupac, driving around with Snoop, and hugging Biggie the day he died (he smelled like soap).

He also spoke about his life today, the highlight of which consists of women on the road "putting H2O in their bodies and then having [it] shoot out like waterfalls." Fun! After the jump, check out what Ray J has to say about catching Faith Evans on Tupac's lap and hanging out with the Notorious B.I.G.

Bad Dudes

Suge Knight, founder of Death Row Records and probable assassin of Tupac Shakur and Christopher Wallace, is set to star in a new project about his life and work called Unfinished Business. According to preview above, Unfinished Business will present viewers with eye-opening portrayals of Knight et al's strange business practices, which include threats, humiliation and acts of violence. (Not that these are unorthodox business methods, but rarely is the cruelty so straightforward.) Exactly what Unfinished Business is – reality series? direct to DVD documentary? minstrel show? – is unclear and unexplained in the video.

If you know what the hell Unfinished Business is, let us know. And everyone stay out of Suge Knight's way. He is not a nice man.

Suge Knight, one of the many black Paris Hilton supporters who choose to forget that the girl doesn't like us, was having a great time with young, white, Hollywood at the Espys last week. For a little while at least.

You know what they say — it's all fun and games until the big black thug/music exec tries to bite the finger off of the little white Entourage star and gets blood everywhere.

According to the NYDN, that's what happened after the diminutive Kevin Connolly got into a "play" wrestle match with Suge Knight. Who does that? Who voluntarily wrestles with Suge Knight and calls it fun? He's lucky he got away with just a bleeding finger.
