Tracey Edmonds has been spotted around town with celebrity chef Rocco DiSpirito — best known for his reality television show about launching his NYC restaurant, which quickly closed despite the publicity — and rumor has it they're "an item." Rocco surely could have found a less complicated way to come out of the closet. [PS]

Mr. Johnny Gill, who, despite rumors that and Eddie Murphy have had a long-term love affair, claimed recently that he is straight as an arrow and keeps a "stable" of women of all races, is not Tracey Edmonds' favorite person. I'm sure he never was. But her certainly didn't improve her opinion of him when he gave a radio interview and blamed her misbehaving wedding guests for causing Eddie's mom to speak out against the union. Apparently, Mama Murphy's misgivings caused Eddie to call the whole thing off. Gill also said that Charlie Murphy was Eddie's best man at the spiritual Bora Bora ceremony, which was never legalized, not him.

Tracey Edmonds has a few problems with Johnny Gill's story, but, thanks to a confidentiality agreement she signed with Eddie when they broke up, she can't offer any specifics. Instead, she released this statement:

"I was very shocked and disappointed to hear of Johnny Gill's false spin on the chain of events surrounding our wedding. His outrageous lies were clearly a very desperate and pathetic attempt to clean up his reputation at my expense. I would appreciate it if Mr. Gill would refrain from continuing to spread false gossip and lies to the public, and allow everyone involved to move on with their lives. We all know the real truth."

Despite enjoying the nature of the "rumors," 50 Cent took a moment in front of the camera during Super Bowl weekend to set the record straight. No, he never dated Ciara. Right. No, he isn't dating Tracey Edmonds. Okay. Unfortunately, he failed to mention his new teeth. That's all anyone really cares about.

Also, he says he never kicked Paris Hilton off the stage at his party. After all, they have so much in common, including a penchant for the word "nigger" (even though he puts the "a" on the end). No way he would ever be that mean to her!

One of the greatest achievements in an actor's career is getting recognized for his hard work. That's why it must be such a heart-warming experience for Eddie Murphy to be nominated for major awards two years in a row. Last year it was for his role in Dreamgirls, and this year, it's for a little movie called Norbit. Except with Norbit, he's getting recognized for making a genuinely awful movie. At least people watched it!

Murphy alone received five Razzie nods, more than anyone has ever gotten in a single year. Besides worst picture, "Norbit" had nominations for Murphy as worst actor in the title role, supporting actress as Norbit's morbidly-obese wife, supporting actor as an Asian man and worst screen couple for Norbit opposite either of Murphy's other characters.

"We decided that each of his characters was so offensive that he deserved individual nominations," said Razzies founder John Wilson. Murphy also shared a screenplay nomination for co-writing the film.

In other E.M. news, rumor has it he split with Tracey Edmonds because she refused to sign a pre-nuptial agreement. I would have preferred to hear that they broke up because Edmonds was encouraging him to be a father to his daughter with Mel B. Oh, well.

Eddie Murphy's rep just issued a statement announcing the actor and Tracey Edmonds would not be having an official ceremony to legalize their symbolic Bora Bora nuptials and that they are "remaining friends." So yeah, it looks like they officially broke up.

"After much consideration and discussion, we have jointly decided that we will forego having a legal ceremony as it is not necessary to define our relationship further.

While the recent symbolic union in Bora Bora was representative of our deep love, friendship and respect that we have for one another on a spiritual level, we have decided to remain friends."
