Terrence Howard Continues To Say Inappropriate Things

Terrence Howard caused a bit of behind-the-scenes drama at the ALMA awards this weekend, when he went way off script while he was presenting an award with Mexican actress Angelica Vale (the original Ugly Betty). He was apparently so taken with her that he thought it was appropriate to ignore the teleprompter and kick game on stage in front of television cameras and a live, celebrity audience.

Howard made things awkward by "flirting and asking her questions that got her blushing and flustered," wrote gossip Janet Charlton. "He ended up adlibbing that he'd like her phone number. They eventually got around to presenting the award, but shortly after that the producers, citing 'technical difficulties,' insisted on reshooting the presentation.

If she decides to give him a chance, she should make sure she stocks her bathroom with a selection of baby wipes before she lets him come over to her place. He will check. [EUR]

I just wish I knew a lot less about this man so I could continue to appreciate his work in the same way I did before I found out he was an inappropriate wacko.

Ana MarĂa Orozco is actually the original Ugly Betty. She is Colombian and NOT Mexican.

I've never been attracted to him. There's something very creepy about him. Even his characters are creepy. Best Man shadiness and reaching up Miss Priss' dress. Plus in Crash, he did nothing while his wife got fingered by the shady cop. I get so mad to this day when I think about that.

I agree about that scene in Crash. It really pissed me off. Ugh!

As far as Terrence the man goes, he's super weird, and not hot at all.

…and had the nerve to get upset when Thandie Newton's character (his wife) called him out and basically said he was an Uncle Tom, willing to pimp out his own wife so he could maintain some pristine magical negro status with the industry folk. F— THAT! I have zero tolerance for such f—ery.

Daria, as for his character in Crash–that was in a MOVIE, and it does not reflect the attitude of an actor in real life, you do realize that, right? lol

I'm beginning to get concerned about this man. He's been "acting out" A LOT lately. What's REALLY going on?

Terrence is a snooty Pisces man that takes himself way too seriously. And you got to know that Terrence didn't write 'Crash', riiight?

I like him as an actor but as a man, he annoys the crap outta me. He drools over everyone but sistas and yet sistas were the ones who watched his career from "Sparks" onward (like my BFF did-lol). That is rather odd, as are his peculiar fetishes–the baby wipes, etc. and I'm over it. Wondering how his CD will do and how cocky he'll become after it drops.

@chynadoll

I think what is really going on is that this guy is genuinely an a**hole. Back in the dark ages, before internet celeb sites, I just don't think we got such a close glimpse at the antics of the performers in their real lives. Now we do and its a mixed blessing. Sometimes people turn out to be really special and admirable (i.e. Jennifer Beals) and sometimes,..well..Terrence Howard.

the whole baby wipes thing, he should just use a bucket of water, cleaner. Oh and Terrence is sexy and wierd. If you ask me those are the two best combinations!

am i the only one who doesn't think keeping your booty clean with baby wipes is weird. TH is just a snarky man in love with himself. i like him as an actor, but as far as his pompous personality - nothing that will get my hackles up.

You know what men will be men. But just to let you know a little about this actress she is very well liked by Latin America and comes from very talented parents which are respected by the entertainment community there. The actress is a singer, writer, imitator. She also has a great sense of humor. I happen to live in the Miami area and she is very humble and down to earth. Hopefully she didn't fall for his act. Eventhough I like the man he got to know when to quit it. I bet she was very cordial and cordial about the whole thing.

You are all forgetting the man received many nominations for his talent. And who cares how you wipe your ass?? At least he's clean. His performances were powerful, especially in Crash. He is a major player in the business now. As for the police scenes, why not down Mr. Dillon? Was she not blowing him and then smirked about it? Why not be mad about the criminal ghetto-jackers who tried to accost them? And the store owner who nearly killed the little girl? It's called acting people. Maybe you should pick on DMX now…now that's a dangerous wierdo, or maybe Kayne (you want to speak of arrogance?). If these suckers don't like the attention, they shouldn't even bother. Am I making this a racial issue, yes, I am, because a lot of your comments are way off kilter and slightly ignorant. Janet, not all men are like that; but what you wrote was done eloquently. And Erik, thanks for the insight, even the original "gossip" writer couldn't get that fact right. NONE of you will probably know the actor, so get over it and do something to "further your social cause"(anger). As for the album, for a self-taught musician, it sounds great. Learn and live people. I am a minority also, but I learned intolerance doesn't help. LOL

I THINK TERRENCE IS SOOOO UGLY. Not sexy at all! I can't believe it when magazine covers and such call him "Hot". To me he is very ugly. He's Uglier than Ulgy Betty, (who I think is kinda cute). I have wanted to say this in public for so long, it's not even funny. He disgusts me… I am a minority also and love african american people, in fact my best friend is african american, but this guy just doesn't cut it for me.
