The $15 Million Babies
Is This Photo Worth The Price?

People magazine paid $15 million for pictures of two newborns so young that they look like every most other newborns of their age and race. At least the money will go to charity. That's all. [MG]

I dont understand all the hype. The parents are cute, and the kids are cute, too…but not any more than average, IMO.

*sigh*

I am in love with Brad and Angelina. I've always been life-long fans of both actors before they got together.

What a beautiful family.

Adopt me, Brad and Angie!!!!

My ovaries ached a little from the Shiloh & Vivienne picture.

I don't particularly care for the twins because newborns all look the same (though I'm pretty sure Shiloh was all cute and pouty-lipped at that age) but the first four are ADORABLE, especially Pax and Zahara.

They are definitely way cuter than most kids, even the Hollywood ones. TomKat alien child is just a miscellaneous kid with an expensive haircut and clothes from Barney's. Reese Witherspoon's kids are extra plain. Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh just exude genetic superiority.

genetic superiority???? Wow. Looking cute makes people genetically superior? Is that the idea?

Oddly i think that eugenics and nazism that "white" people have been fighting during 2d world war might come and hit them in the face via colored people.

The white european civilisation has been so very busy creating theories about the so called superiority of their "white race" in everything including "cuteness"! Colored people, in fact the rest of the world, have integrated this idea and now light skin/eyes, long hairs, small nose, etc… are perceived as "better". As a result, colored people are judging themselves by those criterias, creating a social hierarchy based on looks. This discriminating system is now also used to judge "whites" even by whites themselves… trapping everyone into the most silly social criteria of all time : cuteness/looks as the first valuable quality for an individual.

Again : life is not without a sense of irony… or maybe it's the boomerang effect of karma.

The preaching being done.

On the pics :

- i hate that none of the adopted kids are on the cover. Not even Maddox. That's gross.

- because i am obsessed : i don't like the fact that they both seem to smile at the blonder one. But it might only be the lights.

I don't give a rat's ass about them or their kids. I'm so over the idolatry of the Pitt clan-they aren't the only people (Hollywood or not) to adopt children, do charitable works, and are not the most attractive people either (they aren't gross but they aren't without flaws). I've never gotten the appeal of Brad Pitt (remember when he was with Robin Givens?) and Angelina can't hold a candle to Halle or Salma, imo and they're both older than she is. It's cool to be a fan is one thing but to be obsessed to the point of paying $15 mil for their in-vitro "miracle" is beyond my realm of understanding. At least it's going to charity….

People magazine is sending checks DIRECTLY to the charities Brad and Angie have chosen. They (Brad & Angie) will not even see the money. In return People magazine gets a $14 million tax writeoff. Win-win!

WRONG

The charity the money goes to is actually a charity run by Brad and Angelina. That means they will decide where and how that 15 million gets distributed.

Personally - they should have waited till the children were about six months so we can say ooh and ahh - they look like your typical ball headed pasty anglo saxon new borns to me. I can't find the ooo and ahh - they won't get that until they can sit up by themselves.

They look like a happy family-all the best to em, but it ain't affecting my life like that.
