They Get Money
Money They've Got

Rappers who are millionaires undoubtedly got to that level of financial success in part by making songs and living a lifestyle that calls attention to the fact that they're millionaires at every possible opportunity and in very possible way. As a result, it should come as no surprise that any of the rappers (and producers, and one singer) who made Forbes' biggest earners in hip hop list made it into the top 20. What might be a surprise is how many millions they actually made in the last 12 months. For instances, Chamillionaire more than lived up to his name.

Of course, the number one earner was 50 Cent, thanks to his Vitamin water windfall. Check out the list after the jump.

1. Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, $150 million
2. Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter, $82 million
3. Sean "Diddy" Combs, $35 million
4. Kanye West, $30 million
5. Timothy "Timbaland" Mosley, $22 million
6. Pharrell Williams, $20 million
7. Kasseem "Swizz Beatz" Dean, $17 million
8. Calvin "Snoop Dogg" Broadus, $16 million
9. André "Dr. Dre" Young, $15 million
10. Christopher "Ludacris" Bridges, $14 million
11. Clifford "T.I." Harris, $13 million
12. Dwayne "Lil Wayne" Carter, $13 million
13. Marshall "Eminem" Mathers, $12 million
14. Lonnie "Common" Lynn Jr., $12 million
15. Aliaune "Akon" Thiam, $12 million
16. Jermaine Dupri, $11 million
17. Jonathan "Lil Jon" Smith, $11 million
18. Outkast, $10 million
19. Hakeem "Chamillionaire" Seriki, $10 million
20. Jayceon "The Game" Taylor, $10 million

Well why can't Snoop get a better house? Still paying those legal fees???

Yung Joc did not make the list. I guess that is why he can't make his child support payments..

Swizz might need his for a divorce- hopefully not.

Go Pharrell! I hope he puts some up to make his future child support payments (if it's true that he has a baby on the way).

One of the most vulgar, crass and obnoxious photo I have ever seen of these 4, and that's saying a lot.

I marvel at the double standard in the music industry; there is no way that 4 women, as ugly as these 4 clowns, would be allowed to succeed.

I agree MSIM…What's even worse is that none of them really give back (between all them I think they gave like $2 million to Hurricane Katrina), Nelly did more and he's not even on the list or have any real ties to philanthropic ventures like Russell Simmons. The youth have no hope today.
