Since posting this story about white, female sex tourists of a certain age who vacation in Kenya, where they "befriend" young locals in need of some extra cash, several of said young locals seem to be mistaking Stereohyped for a matchmaking service. One particularly persistent guy — he's in search of a "rich white lady" — has left a comment on the post three times. Hopefully, they aren't seriously waiting for a response.
There's a story here. My good friend went to Morocco where this type of thing is common. The other side of the coin is that many female tourists are taken advantage of by young beautiful men who romance them out of their cash. My friend met two of these women. One of them went home broke after being romanced and then threatened. The other married the man and now can't afford to go back home. Or course, this can happen right here too!

well manybe they were confused by all of those interacial dating ads that are on Stereohyped. lol
Terry McMillan should be told: never mind Jamaica, dear, go to Kenya.
This business is so sad. I don't care what colour or gender the perpetrators are; sex tourism is despicable.

I've yet to meet a single woman who came back from Morocco without several marriage proposals under her belt. While the threatening part is not cool, nice to see that they've turned the game on its head.
Monie I thought the same thing. why are they so many interracial ads on stereohyped? =)
