Yes. I definitely am feeling the pinch in gas, food and utilities especially. I don't have alot left over. I don't eat out much and I don't have alot for non-necessities. And where is George Bush? Has anybody seen him?
I haven't felt the pinch but I am certainly about to go into a time of pinching myself proactively in regards to the extracurricular spending I do. It's really not a great time to be luxuriating at great restaurants and buying whatever my heart fancies when there are people who can't even get their basic needs met. So I am going to temper myself over the next few months to just do the bare necessities. It's already proven to be hard as one of my favorite stores, Banana Republic, is having a massive sale and I want a new dress!
I am definitely feeling it. Even though my husband and I have income that exceeds anything we have made over the past 10 years, we are struggling with everything from utilities to groceries, and putting gas in car. It sucks…
My job doesn't offer ANY overtime now, so my paycheck doesn't have that extra padding, which means no more shopping trips. Plus, I stay close to home now to save on gas and take the light rail to work on some days.
The good thing about taking the light rail is the fact that I'm actually losing weight hiking to the platform and running from this one particular dog. lol It's quite an adventure.
No seriously, yall. Where is George Bush on this? These major Wall Street corporations are going bankrupt and last I heard "the economy is fundamentally sound."

I am afraid to check on the decline of my 401K….

Yes, in every way. I'm eating an old push pop for lunch.
