So. O.J. Simpson. Going to jail… possibly for life. Did he get what was coming to him? Do you think it was possible for him to get a fair trial, given his history? Do you care?
Honestly, I don't think he could have gotten a fair trial. Thing is, I don't much care. He got away with murder, but he's going to jail for… stealing assorted paraphernalia? I'm not even sure what his crime was. And again, I don't much care.
I don't think he got a fair trail and I for one am concerned.
With the original verdict, although I was a middle-schooler - the Simpson verdict was a win for me in the sense that OJ got a "FAIR" trail.
He had a world-class defense team and multiple blunders with the prosecution and evidence rendered a not-guilty verdict for a black man as it should have. This is an essential tenant for our justice system.
With this current case, as we see everywhere - OJ was not only evaluated on the current evidence but for crimes/possible crimes of his past. For that, I feel like justice has not been served.
I agree that OJ should have been low-key..but I think we should be very concerned with a justice system that goes beyond the facts and evidence of the existing case to determine guilt.
I don't think he could have ever gotten a fair trial. But i DO think that he should probably go to jail just for writing the book 'If i did it' because that's just disgusting. I don't even care if it didn't get distributed.
You know, if he had just shut the f*** up and sat in a corner after his first trial, he wouldn't be in this situation! This is it, in black and white, clear as day: O.J. never knows when to shut up and sit down!
A fair trial wasn't possible regardless of the race of the jury. He played himself ever since that controversial verdict years ago..You reap what you sow; he has no one to blame but himself.
Yes, he got what was coming to him. I am unconvinced given his history that a fair trial would have been easy to attain, but I don't think it would have been impossible. No, I don't care. I have many concerns about our justice system but none of them have anything to do with this a**hole.
First, he was stupid to do that in a vegas hotel with cameras But, I still don't think he got a fair trial Vegas have Blacks and Whites who could have been part of the jury but for some reason wasn't.Now if I was him after the first time going through this I would have stayed my ass out of the spotlight and just chilled and lived my life, and in a way he brought a lot of this on himself with the books and the comments.

I don't really care. OJ is a narcissistic fool.
A fair trial wasn't possible regardless of the race of the jury. He played himself ever since that controversial verdict years ago..You reap what you sow; he has no one to blame but himself.
I'm glad.
Nope. Don't care. Don't really understand why this is headline news in America. Black men go to jail everyday for crimes they did or did not commit.

im glad…they got that mufucka
Like I said before, I'm not "glad" he's going down… It's just that at this stage, no one really cares. We're all consumed with this presidential race.

OJ today, your defenseless it-won't-happen-to-me black ass tomorrow.
